Someone just asked me why I am so crazy about Evelyn Tan when she is already married. The thing is that I am crazy over her in that I think that she is super super attractive but that doesn't mean that I want to marry her.
Seriously, there are so many pretty girls out there (although more so in Singapore than where I am now, opps... hope that I dun step on any toes), if I want to be with everyone of them, then I'll probably be very busy (asking them out) and very sad (not enough time to ask every single one of them out).
If anything, the fact that Eveyln Tan is married just means that at least one guy out there agrees with me :D

Professors are very caring people, it's just that they can be blur at times
In graduate school, the homework usually consists of 3-7 problems each. However, most of them usually require quite a bit of thinking and some time to get it out in a presentable form. And for some classes, we get homeworks every week.
A lot of students complain that professors (with PhD) do not understand how long it takes for a student (without PhD) to work out each of the problems. However, being the positive me, I like to believe that my professors, having been students in the past, do understand our stuggles and recongize the amount of time required for solving these problems.
Their only oversight is that they forget that most students need to eat, sleep and occasionally take some time off to use the bathroom :p

Something to brighten up your day
Looks like this is a busy period.... I know that it is a crazy period for me. Midterms are around the corner, homeworks just keep coming and my research work needs to continue.... Everyone that I see on MSN seem to be equally bogged down with the various aspects of their work and life as well. Anyway... here's just a little something to brighten up your day....

My exam script
Haha... this must be one of my proudest exam script ever... only second to some math test that I had in primary school where my teacher stamped a star beside my name :p

Mr Unfriendly
Opps... I was Mr Unfriendly today :p But it's not really my fault.... I was taken by surprise....
I have quite a bit of stuff that I need to clear in office today, but was feeling really tired in the afternoon. So I took a short nap at home before heading to school in the evening. I was thinking, ah yeah... who will I bump into on a Sunday evening in school. So I just left the house in my glasses. Most of you will prob know that I am not really in a sociable mood whenever I am wearing my glasses.
So anyway, I was on my way to school with my glasses on my face and my hair in a mess. Then along the way, I passed by this group of students and one of them waved at me and said "Hi Danny". Then I just went "Sorry, I am not Danny". Haha... I guess she was just not very good at differentiating asian faces.
After that I actually felt quite bad, ah yeah... I mean the poor girl must be quite embrassed to make such a mistake in front of her friends.... I should have been a bit nicer. But ah yeah... I am seriously very shy in front of girls when I am wearing my glasses one (not to mention that my hair was also in a mess) and everything just happened so fast, so I didn't really have time to think much as well.
Anyway, what's done is done... Haha... now I am wondering who is this nerdy Danny guy who doesn't tidy his hair....

Cedar Keys
Went with a group of friends to Cedar Keys last weekend. It is a really nice and relaxing place. The people staying there are mainly retirees who spend their day watching the sea or fishing. So nice.... Anyway, saw a funny apron that says "If you want breakfast in bed, then sleep in the kitchen" and a cute little chevy red pickup truck. Yes, that is a pickup. Cool hor...

Hehe... One of those MTVS that I like
First time I saw this MTV was in a KTV. Haha... I dun agree with lying or believe in picking up girls in a club, but other than that, haha... I love this MTV.
Anyway in case if you dun get the plot (I have to admit that it took me a while to understand it but i know my friends are all very smart so you all will probably get it the first time you see it), it is basically about this couple who lied to each other about their evening plans (guy said that he working overtime, girl said that she is sleeping early) but they end up bumping into each other in the same club. Haha... anyway the really fun part is their attitude towards flirting which is decribed in the song.
It just gives me exactly the same feeling as I watch the korean movie, "The Art of Seduction". Fantastic!

Valentine's Day dilemma
For probably the first time in my life, I am forced to make a choice on how I wish to spend my Valentine's Day (haha... as far as I remember, it is usually quite straight forward for me).
Choice 1. They are having a marathon on this new series "Matched in Manhattan". It is a show on how a professional match-maker tries to pair people up in NY. Haha... there are definitely a lot of things that I do not agree with the host of the show, but still it is a fun watch. Sadly, I had only managed to catch the first two epiosdes because it clashes with my Bible study.

Choice 2. There is a public seminar titled "The Science of Love: Choosing a Mate Wisely and Maintaining a Strong Relationship". I guess it is always great to hear how people try to systematically study romantic love and the results that they get.
Sadly, the timing for both of them clash and so I have to make a choice. Sigh... this is when I really wish that I have a VCR.
Actually there is a third choice as well, because the movie "Definitely Maybe" opens on V-day as well. Haha... but since I have no one to go watch the show with, I guess this option just drops off automatically. I guess you can call it a blessing in disguise.

All things bright and beautiful
Oh... I so love this song.... Haha... my friend was saying that sounds like it was sung by a disney princess. Sigh the good old days when disney had such lovely feel good music.

No toliet paper
It is amazing. My house is out of toliet paper for over a week already, and no one has actually went out to buy some. I spend most of my time in school, so I usually finish my business in school before I go (if you know what i mean). But I am wondering how my housemates are actually surviving.
Anyway I will be going down to Orlando for the next few days to meet up with another fellow Singaporean. Haha... I will probably pick up some toliet paper along the way home.
