I'm Belle!!

Haha... a lot of you probably know that I am a big fan of the Disney princessess. I recently took a quiz at http://www.brainfall.com and results show that I am Belle, who happens to be one of my favourite princess (the other is Ariel). Haha... but take the results with a pinch of salt. I wouldn't say that I am not superficial. But I agree, Belle is almost too good of a person and I am proud to even be like her :)

You are Belle. You are strong, deep, and you are not a slave to petty superficial things. You are independent and allow yourself to see inner beauty without sacrificing your values. You are almost too good of a person.

Law and Order SVU

I was channel surfing when I chanced upon this show, Law and Order: Special Victims Unit. They were showing three episodes back to back and I watched all three. The reason? Diane Neal. For some reason, she reminds me of Evelyn Tan :p

Post talk blog entry

Just got back from the dating talk. It's fun. So nice to hear the views of some many people of different backgrounds.

Anyway, someone was asking about when do people start holding hands, do they kiss on the first date etc... Someone from the panel, gave a very good answer (in my humble opinion). Whenever you feel comfortable. Don't let society or culture norms decide it for you .

That said, please be a good boy/girl. Don't go holding hands with someone if you know your parents are going to flip when they find out. That's one more thing that I learnt today. Open communication. Talk to your parents.

Anyway, the main idea is that you shouldn't feel obliged to hug or kiss someone just because the tv says so, he or she paid for your dinner or sent you home. Yes, some girls are very nice and they do send boys home. You gotta understand that some of us stay in areas where it is more dangerous for the guy ok!

We should live our own lives. Dating is stressful enough (but very fun too!), dun make it worse by having more expectations to meet up too.

Happy Deepavali to my Singaporean friends ^.^

Orlando trip

Went with some friends to Orlando last friday. Did some shopping at the mall. Shopping in Orlando is so different from shopping in Gainesville. You see a more trendy and international crowd in the mall at Orlando. Below is a pic of my purchases

After shopping, we headed to Universal Studios. Visited some of the haunted houses and caught a few rides. There were a total of 8 haunted houses there that evening. I think we went into 5 of them. The first one was really scary, but after a while, it was kinda more or less the same. The rides were good too. Not too scary :p

I haven't really been to a lot of amusment parks, but I thought that Universal Studios was quite fun. Now I understand why people are willing to pay so much for the tickets. Looking forward to my trip to Disneyworld at the end of the year. Hope I get to meet Ariel and Belle ^.^
